Now, back when I was a wee little lvl 15, I wasted my refunds. All of them, lol. I bought a champion and a skin, refunded both to get another champion and refunded another skin~~ (a legacy too LOL I didn't know alright?) ~~that I changed my mind on. I think, while not everyone has used their refunds as poorly, I'd say a lot of people regret their usage of them.

So, while I do understand that people can abuse multiple refunds, I was thinking maybe every year (OR SOMETHING like that) people would get the default number of refunds reset. Not not very often, but I'm sure there are things people regret buying. A skin they now hate, or maybe they want to refund a champion so they can afford another. I don't know but what ever the reason, I think it would be reasonable, right? Thoughts?

Honestly, it's about RP hording. Riot won't refund because you could just say "well, I'm bored of this skin, time to refund!"

DISCLAIMER I'M NOT SAYING THEY'RE RIGHT.

The better option would be (since you don't even have a fucking preview of a skin) is to always allow refunds after one game. If you play a second game with the skin, it's yours for good. I also think the three original refunds you get, plus one gratis one per season would be a ok.

Stop wasting your money on things you aren't sure you want.

The refunds Riot gave was a nice gesture, not something they should make a habit.

How else will they make money? You think they actually care about your financial well-being? They are a huge business. They are all about getting their's and couldn't give a smaller fuck about the community. The game is addictive enough that people will keep coming back to play it.

1 refund per season. No real reason not to, the money has already been spent on RP so Riot won't actually be losing a lot of profit

RP is virtual currency. So just like pbe they can ship out a boat load with no repercussion. If they refund you RP they can literally just give you the fake RP technically and still keep the money you spent. And lets say you purchase something of equal value they aren't losing anything because its like the refund never happened. I don't see the problem with I'm not saying three but 1 refund every season. After the initial three are gone.

You're not even allowed to use your refund tokens to refund something if you bought it more than 90 days ago.

So even if they nerf that champ you bought a skin for, and he's unplayable in the meta now.... If you bought it 91 days ago, you can't refund it, even with a token.

Or if you bought a bunch of useless runes, and realized you're never ever ever going to use them? Nope, can't refund them (I actually had this happen on my smurf - couldn't refund all the useless runes I bought because they were a year old).

the way they should do it, is at the end of the year, they refresh your 3 refunds. But you can not refund the things you bought the previous year.

Or just refunds on stuff you got with ip for every 50k ish ip you get you get one ip refund. When i was level 20 ish i refunded champions i bought with ip like janna that where cheap as hell in the first place because i never knew you couldent get any more refunds

I spent mine on Alistar and Tristana. And one on Ahri that I bought again the next day. This was 2 years ago. I have never thought they were "wasted" or that I needed more as everyone should strive to own every champion and rune in my opinion. Basically, stop feeling so entitled.

i used all my refund for their 2 for 1 rune page bundle. i mean they introduced them at the same time. so why not ?! save myself 18k+ip :D

I just think they should issue a temp refund anytime they nerf a champ into the ground. Glad I never bought a corki skin when I started playing.

You guys know money isn't a matter in regards to refunds, right? You bought the RP already, so Riot already has the money.

It's so people can't abuse them, buying a champ that's FOTM and refunding when it gets nerfed, etc.

I do think there should be a way to get more refunds, though. They thought about doing it through the honor system, gifting refunds if you are friendly in games. I thought it was a good idea.
