What style do u use? Im trying to convince my wife that playing unlocked screen will help you improve on gameplay instead of locked. Can the ppl of leagues help me out. Im gold 5 and i stoped playing locked screen back in 2010 when i was bout lvl 20. Am i right bout unlocked is better?

I changed my keybindings so that spacebar locks and unlocks camera. Instead of holding it, it's now a toggle. I find it to be much better.
GaleWinUnleashed2 votesUnlocked is inherently more useful. If you need to snap back to yourself just press spacebar. This will be even better soon with the introduction of a kind of spotlight feature to highlight your champion when you center the camera.
Edit: At the very least try to get her to bind the lock/unlock camera button to something easily accessible so she can switch back and forth more efficiently.
Mysticman891 votesI strongly prefer unlocked. If for some reason I need to keep the view centered on me (which is rare, as I'd rather focus on the enemy), that's what the spacebar is for.

WeedTits1 votesHere's what you do - change her keybindings so that instead of the Y key locking and unlocking camera, set it to the space bar. This will help transition to unlocked.
I think Dyrus played locked camera for his first 2 years as a pro league player, learning to cs and other shit is way more important.

A Bad Mystic1 votesI play locked. I tried to learn how to play unlocked but it didnt work out so well, im not that good mechanically and trying to keep track of my cam plus everything else is just too overwhelming for me. Same reason i never liked Dota, they forced the cam controls onto you.

Joman7671 votesI didn't think I would be so alone in this but I use both. Depending on the situation I look/unlock my screen every 10 to 20 seconds or so depending on the stage of the game. Key binding set to y still
RisenDarkKnight1 votesUnlocked is much better as it lets you see what your allies/enemies are doing much easier. It also helps dodge/aim long range skillshots.
It is way easier to use global skillshots like Ashe ult with unlocked screen than with locked.

Though a youtuber I like (Trinimmortal) also uses locked camera almost exclusively and is Plat 1, so it's not like you need unlocked to succeed. I just need to play more ranked, lol.
