Riot where is the wukong rework you promised months ago? This champ is absolute aids to play now. Who here has EVER in their ENTIRE life has been overwhelmed by a wukong, EVER? Exactly, no you have not, infact, wukong in his current state is basically a weaker jax jungle. Wukongs W only does 70 dmg and blocks about only 1-2 attacks from camps with high mana cost. Jax has the ability to also block camp attacks, which is also for a longer duration, which also does more dmg the more he dodges, which also stuns, which also has a lower cd. Wukongs Q at this point is literally a auto attack with +10 dmg with mana cost on a 9 second cd. Jax does 40 dmg, lower cd, less mana cost. Also hes better at skirmishing, better ganks, gets dragons easier, and scale so hard he doesnt even need to rely on his team. Wukong mains might as well play Jax jungle cause he’s basically a better version of him. And i can argue jax can one shot a carry as effectively as wukong can believe me. Buff the champ riot, rework him, dont ignore him.

Riot Meddler:

"Thanks again for all the feedback on the Wukong update that's been in testing on the PBE, it's been really helpful in making a call on what to do with that project. We will be going ahead with those changes, likely with some changes from exactly what was on the PBE and certainly with some further balance adjustments. Not sure on timeframe yet, that's mainly going to be determined by availability of artist time to work on some new visual effects, maybe an animation or two and some revised sound effects."

In his current state no, but I'd rather not go back to the state of Wukong building full lethality and one shotting everyone.

Buff the champ riot, rework him, dont ignore him.

That's what the rework intends to do. Wukong has two ways to play him, one usually overcrowding the other.

1 - Build full lethality followed by cleaver/tank and one shot the entire backline. 2 - Build cleaver followed by tank, all the while still doing a lot of damage.

Wukong has a (mostly) unavoidable kit, high damage, and is overwhelmingly strong when allowed to be. He needs a rework which hopefully will come soon.
