I cant "Reroll for champion permanent"?

riot got rid of that option. no longer possible now.

they got rid of it because it was "too easy" to get champions, somewhere at the start of the downfall of riot. Hopefully next season will be better or i'm off the boat

it was a viable option to have when shards were difficult to get - from boxes or for 1700 from the shop (my friends and I went months without buying a champion, only 'gambling' at the shards table). However, when you started getting 2-3 shards every time you leveled up, a reroll (which gave I think a guaranteed unowned champion) became way too powerful. You would be, in essence, getting a new champion every level or two, including 6300's. I was a bit miffed when it came out but I think its a fair change, since they ramped up the the shard availability.

They got rid of it because it was pretty much the only way to actually get something for playing without throwing tens of hours at the game. Time to get the 6300 champ you want now? assuming you get it immediately in a level gift, another 3 levels at a minimum depending on how much BE you get from dismantling. At maximum? Well, assuming you get rng screwed and ONLY get the 90BE champions per level, it's about 3100 BE to turn a 6300 shard into a permanent, you're looking at a maximum of 35 levels for 1 champion, 70 if you never get the champion shard from leveling. Potentially HUNDREDS of games for 1 champion. If you add in daily win 50BE, probably 30 - 60 levels for 1 champion.

This system has so much disastrous potential rng that you're better off waiting for a champ sale and buying with RP. Riot has successfully made the new player experience the worst of any moba in their attempt to make the new player experience better. Truly a riot games move on par with removing half of Quinns kit and calling it a "buff"

They got rid of it. Also, don't bother rerolling skin shards. You're not guaranteed to get a skin for a champion you own anymore (or even a champion you want). I did that once because my friend said I'll get a skin for a champion I had. I got a cho'gath skin. I didn't have nor want cho'gath and it wasn't even a good skin. I lost my phoenix Quinn shard for that. Rip. Oh. Well. Lesson learned I guess. Now I just disenchant skin shards I don't want because I'll get more orange essence than if I were to reroll and get a skin I don't want and then have to disenchant.
