It's entirely possible that teams are looking for ADCs but the captains don't like your choice and keep rejecting you.
Yeah you can't trust that. It says that queueing up as anything that doesn't fit the recommended (bruiser elise) as Long or even Very Long
It also really depends on what ADC you are playing. Good luck getting into a game as MF or Urgot, sometimes Ashe too
