A question about Malzahar
Hi! So I only recently bought Malzahar and I now have an 87.5 ranked Win Rate with him. I am not complaining about him at all, I am just asking how do I play against him if I do come upon a Malzahar. Also any Malz tips?

if you can push harder than him, push harder than him, if you can't- do whatever damage you can once he E's a minion, if you start losing, roam to bot lane for kills.
Someone with long range waveclear is a very good choice against him. Lux comes to mind.
Building QSS early is worth it as an assassin vs him. Don't stand too close to minions with E on them, predict where he can bounce them to with Q. Don't eat voidling damage. If you're at 100%, as long as he isn't fed, he can't 100-0 you, but if you;re poked to even ~80% he can. With a jungler, it's even easier.
Most of the time, mages outperform malz in teamfights if you play well. Assassins with qss can usually jump in and burst him before he can do the same.
I know quite a few individual mechanics about malz, but it's been a long, long time since I played him regularly. Better off looking for someone else on that front.
For malz tips. The best thing I can tell you to do, is learn ad malzahar for jg and top. it gives you ALOT of knowledge of voidling management and about how much damage your spells do w.o items. how to use them best. and how to abuse the voidling early game.
Against malz, make sure your team understands one simple thing. if you cc a malz during his ultimate, he is probably dead. He may build a bit tanky. but he HATES delayed stuns and cc. especially on someone mobile (freaking stupid ass jarvan...) Abuse his long cd's, ward your jungle. Cant tell you how many times ive snowballed out of control because the enemy squishies faced checked jg when i had my ult up. Malz also has enough damage at level 2 to kill your poor low health jg at his secound buff. (assuming they are not jg tanks)

If you are AP, play very safe post 6 and try to pick something with decent range since Malzahar can destroy nearly anything 1v1 close range.
If you are AD, QSS is what you want
My only tip is: Don't use your ultimate at the beginning of teamfights. Its honestly really discouraging to have our Malzahar get CC'd because he thinks he is Vi or something. You can't lock down a squishy with your ult without any care in the world if they have allies :P
