Aatrox No Longer Exists (Let The Community Explain)

Ok so I've noticed that Aatrox is no longer an efficient champion. His damage is terrible. His ult is basically just a speed boost with extra healing from his passive which is not up often enough to compensate for his ult. He has this itty bitty little dash and a q that can strike 3 times differently and deal no damage.... there is supposed to be a knock up for this q of his and its so short that Yasuo is gonna have to spam R one thousand times and he still might miss it.... So now tell me do you see something very wrong about this?[sg-lulu] [zombie-brand-mindblown] [sg-ahri-1] [sg-shisa] Btw if you don't believe it then play him for a game and you'll instantly see why he is so bad right now.

He's fine, he isn't great, but he is not really trash either. There are worse champs rn

The thing about aatrox as I can see it also in many Hashinshin's videos ( Who has something wrong with head but still has mechanically good aatrox) that aatrox is impossible to play as skillcap champion, he is hard to play perfectly but is tuned around the way to not require it but even as statstick champ he can be quite easily beaten via skill matchups as his kit is too clunky to execute and has too many flaws and openings which arent supposed to be compensated by numbers as someone who also gains a lot with increase in skill that are unfortunately usable rather in statstick fights thus creating either 2 scenarios. One where aatrox can fight enemy as skill cap due to enemy being statstick and crushing him via high numbers pilled on top of possible mechanics and second, where aatrox fight another skill cap champ as he is skill cap himself but via numbers how would statsticks do and not skill cap champions due to his clunky nature. And because of this, he may feel as sh;t while being completely monster or feel like monster while being complete sh;t. You all know that his is the case... As the solution, the mini rework that would push him either direction ( skill cap but less clunky or statstick but in level of kayn for example) is the way to go.

he's just an angry meme now. dunno why riot chose to nerf him in an attempt to get him level with the roster instead of just uplifting the roster.

Still a common pick in pro-play despite being "so bad", and his ult also grants him bonus AD of which you left out. Maybe you're just not that good as an Aatrox player.

Only real good thing about him is that he can play safe and to survive in most matchups and wait for his mid game black cleaver spike. Which is why he's picked in pro play. He's lost a lot of his laning power due to worse waveclear and sustain.
