Quinn's current state and recommended changes
I personally want a bit of a revert and quality of life update on Quinn
Right now Quinn has a negative win ratio on average and a low popularity and for good reason She is clunky
She is typically seen top, mid, or jungle when she was intended to be an adc, personally i don't want her to be an adc she is suppose to be unique but her rework just made her feel less unique. she is one of those snowball or nothing champs, when you fall behind you fall very behind because she is squishy and doesn't have a lot of safety besides her e, typically u want to use q out of your ulti to save your e as an escape or further engage but I personally like the feeling of using e as an engage. I believe in Korea she is played a bit more and you see her in the jungle quite a bit as her roaming is amazing. Let's stick with this idea of a roaming laner/jungler and add onto it because right now every time i pick her I am excited to use her kit but then when it comes to actual play it just feels so unsatisfying.
My suggestions:
Q - Remove the mark q leaves as this is clunky, you often will q and then auto and that auto will not proc harrier you have to wait a few seconds after the q lands for valor to mark and then you auto making for a really awkward burst and engage and just doesn't feel good
W - Ability to know where wards are, this wont mark them and allow you to kill them but simply ends up adding a ping on the map or just a quick flash to indicate there is a ward there, this will help in deciding which lanes are good to gank ahead of time, this is obviously something that may separate the good from bad Quinn's which is something to embrace. It could also be nice if you could select the area to scan, such as a targeted spell to check a certain area, and make the area smaller. This will allow for a more skilled use of the spell rather than just pressing it before you engage in lane or before you gank to check for counter ganks. This will also encourage people to help their jungler if they are in lane, scan the area for wards and enemy jungler to know if the path is clear for your jungler. Adds more utility and skill to this ability.
E - I don't like how sometime when you e they will walk in the other direction and reach outside of your auto range so u end up marking them but are unable to auto them, sometimes u may flip over a wall and the wall pushes u again, out of auto range. I think adding the auto attack to the ability itself is best so when you are flipping back mid air quinn will shoot, this will feel a lot less clunky and add style points
R - Me and many other old school Quinn players miss the old ultimate. I remember trying to only play Quinn for a short period before the nerfs(rework) and she felt like an assassin, you go into bird form and just dash right to them and do massive burst, typically u have to pick the right target and time to engage but it felt almost like a nocturne ulti, with the items now such as edge of night and the new GA I can see old school Quinn being extremely viable. If you want to leave the ulti the same then that's fine but make skystrike do something, it's like dropping snowflakes on them, it doesn't do anything it's just there for aesthetics. instead of it dealing next to no damage I'd like seeing it add a slow. Allowing for Quinn to properly engage onto targets, and then any target targeted by e during ulti will end up being rooted by skystrike for a short duration, this will make her feel like the assassin she should be, people will be terrified when she is flying at you.
Overall a bit of base damage on q and e and skystrike would help compensate for the changes here, maybe more on q and e or even harrier and then remove skystrikes damage all together and make it only a slow/root
