Compared to Lux (who also can proc her passive with it, has a more reliable cc combo, and has it on a lower cd)

Ziggs whole shtick is that he is low reliability, high reward. As is the bonus on his ult is a little underwhelming with how difficult it is to hit in the middle, that damage being

lux ult has a far less rewarding hitbox, Straighline has a lower gold value than circle aoe in balance terms. Besides that his kit is entirely different, lux has little to no mobility and 1/4 the zoning potential ziggs has. Ziggs also has amazing waveclear, far better siege potential, and a q poke that is basically his auto attack. Oh and lets not forget his actual auto attack passive either.

They arent even comparable really, ziggs ult is plenty powerful enough.

255 base on q + aoe/siege/spammable 210 base on w + peel/zone/aoe/siege 140+56 base on e + peel/zone/aoe 400 base on r + beautiful aoe

LOL, had this experience today. Playing Skarner jg, ziggs tosses bomb to deter, I was already not going to get out of the radius, so I said wtf full in. My W shields the entire blast and then I made him my play toy. Was really funny. I expected to lose a bunch of life, but all it did was tickle. (I only had 1 MR item.) Yet I can stack 3 Armor items and have them do nothing against some burst ADCs.......figure that out.
