Regarding Boot Enchants
So, as anyone who plays the game knows, boot enchantments were removed because reasons, reasoning being that the movespeed boosts would end up being un-balancable. So, I have a suggestion on that topic. Why not make the boot enchants NOT be movespeed? Heck, why do they even have to be unique? You may already see what I'm getting at here.
Since giving movespeed was an issue, why not make boot enchants give the effect of another pair of boots? I can't count the amount of times I've wished I could go both Ninja Tabi and Mercury Threads as a tank or the times I've been torn between Lucidity or Sorc Boots playing a mage, but it's always been two pairs of boots I've wanted.
So for, let's say, 800 gold, you'd get one of the following enchants on your boots; Lucidity: 10% CDR / 10% Summoner Spell CDR Blurred Steps: 10% less damage from champion Basic Attacks Tenacity: 30% reduced CC duration Wanderlust: 115 Out-of-Combat Movespeed Slow Resist: Reduces the effectiveness of slows by 35% Mana Channeling: +15 Magic Penetration Why Does This Affect Your Arms: +35% Attack Speed
As of right now I've just copied the numbers, so some of them would require adjusting so an enchant wouldn't make a boot type obsolete, for one Lucidity would have to give CDR for either abilities or summoner spells, not both, Mana Channeling would probably need to be lowered to 10 Magic Pen, Zerk-Greaves enchant would have to be reduced too, probably to 25-30% and Wanderlust should probably be 85 Movespeed out of combat. The price could also be adjusted to, possibly, 600, but going lower than that would probably not be a good idea.
It goes without saying that you can't enchant a boot with the enchant it already has and you can only enchant once, so there'd be no "Ultimate God-Boot" late game. (Though getting that God-Boot would cost you 4800 gold + your choice of boot's price.) (Also, if you have a suggestion for an actual Berserker Greaves enchant name, feel free to drop it in, because I couldn't think of any.)
There could also be a new boot enchant that removes unit collision in case you don't want any of the other ones, because screw unit collision.
TL;DR: Boot Enchants give the main desired effect of another type of boot, but not the stats that boot gives. For stat-based boots like Sorcerer Boots, Boots of Lucidity or Berserker's Greaves, the effect is either diminished or only part of it is given.
So that's my idea. Please discuss civilly.
