Regarding the Preseason 2015 Jungle itemisation and Camps

Hello, today i wan't to talk about the recent updates on the PBE (Yes i'm a tester), but first let me point out some important Aspects

  • Hunter's Machete price increased from 325 (Live) to 400, "Hunter's Machete now grants 30 magic damage on hit over 2 seconds and grants 8 health and 2 Mana per second while fighting monsters." (+10 Attack Dmg vs neutral and +5 Dmg reduction vs monsters on live)

  • All Jungle iems removed from the game and Reworked (Bye Lizard, Wraith, Golem, FF, Madstone ;'c)

  • Hunter's Machete now upgrades into 4 items that amplify or change your Smite ability

  1. Stalker's Blade After killing 3 monsters, you can smite enemy champions, dealing a small amount of true damage and reducing their movement speed by 50% for 2 seconds. (Double ignite ftw?)

  2. Poacher's Knife Upgrade Smite to Quick Smite. Quick Smite has reduced cooldown - has further reduced cooldown when you kill large monsters and grants bonus gold if you use it on the monsters in the enemy jungle. (Haven't tested this one yet but later on i'll be talking about smite changes)

  3. Skirmisher's Saber Upgrades Smite to Challenging Smite. Challenging Smite can be cast on an enemy champion - doing no true damage but revealing them for a long time and causing your attacks to deal bonus true damage each time you hit him. (Bye bye to shaco invasions)

  4. Ranger's Trailblazer Upgrades Smite to Desolating Smite - which causes Smite to deal 50% splash damage to other nearby monsters as well as stun them for 1.5 seconds. (If your Champ din't have any AoE..Now it does.)

  • The 4 above items can be enchanted with 4 enchantments that offer bonus statistics so you can customize the item based on what kind of role you want your jungler to transition to

1.1 Enchantment: Warrior

  • Grants AD and Life Steal (Le good ol' Wriggle's Lantern)

2.1 Enchantment: Magus

  • Grants AP and CDR (Spirit of the Spectral Wraith is that you?)

3.1 Enchantment: Juggernaut

  • Grants Health, CDR and Movement Speed (Who wouldn't want to jungle as a bruiser now?)

4.1 Enchantment: Slayer

  • Grants AS, CDR and a stacking AS buff" (Tempting for assasins)

  • Dragon Dragon's reward system has been reworked to a "Dragonslayer" buff that grants a chunk of stats and becomes stronger the more dragons your team slays! (Note: it's still granting the individual 25 gold reward :Ok:)

Level 1: Grants +5 hp/mana regen per 5 seconds Level 2: Grants 8 AD and AP Level 3: 15 Movement Speed (Yep) Level 4: 100 Hp And last but not less important Level 5: Triples all the other bonuses

  • Smite: Cooldown Changed from 40 Seconds (live) to 60 Seconds, As i mentioned before Poacher's Knife reduce the Cd on smite from 60 seconds to 50 seconds, aparently Large monster kills reduce the cd by another 10 seconds (have to test it out)

  • Blue camp and Red camp Timers Moved from 1:54 to 2:30 (ouch)

  • Jungle Difficult improved

In my opinion i like all of these changes but the Jungle Dmg increase, the smite cd change and the machete nerfs, Right now junglers have no sustain in the jungle and manny will probably fall behind (mostly Squishies), the dragon changes are just punishing every team that is behind and can't control the Dragon because the other team is Outplaying them or they have already a huge gold lead compared to them

My suggestion are the following:

  1. Lower the Hunter's Machete price to 325 Or 360 (4-3 pots c:)

  2. Lower a Bit the Jungle difficulty, tried to clear a Razorbreak camp as an adc just to get executed since there is no safe spot for adcs to clear it anymore, plus they really do heavy dmg to squishy junglers.

  3. Give Hunter's Machete the current Spirit Stone Passive (Restore 6% Dmg dealth as Hp and 3% as Mana) This would really help in sustain terms to Every jungler

  4. Return the Global Gold to Dragon, it would be better since you wouldn't be punishing teams that are behind so much, because they would like more to loose some gold than letting the enemy team get free stats (A Real Pain)

  5. Return the Red/blue Buff Timer to 1:54? (No Big deal, You can simply start at Gromp or Krugs Now and you will be almost level 2 plus their awesome passives)

  6. Lower the Smite Cd Back to 40 or Atleast 45 (Helps a bit in clearing the Jungle)
