I'm ok with Riven having 4 dashes

but I don't understand why she has 340 movement speed. I mean, buying boots on her is so pointless, like Wingsofdeath stated. This is especially true if she buys BC. If she had less MS, maybe we could disengage her in early game, when she bully us. What do you guys think about it?

Then that just defeats the purpose of having a dash to begin with, doesn't it?

Can we just gut Riven and call it a day. She's freelo, it's harder for anyone with half a brain to lose a game over winning. Even if some how she magically isn't, and doesn't have high base damage, a huge shield, 4 dashes on a low cooldown and 2 forms of hard core CC on low cooldowns, while also being resourceless and I'm just imagining that she does have all of this.

She's toxic and unfair to fight against. She has no real weakness, she can even be fairly tanky too. She's strong throughout the game and strong in or against any team comps. Even against tanks due to her being AD. I'd be okay if every Riven main had to stop playing her and actually play a fair, balanced champion for once. Because regardless of what anyone says, she's freelo.

I remember seeing a red post once explaining something on this issue. basically whatever a character builds has low base stats. hence, high base ATK on morgana, quite low base HP on sion. it's to prevent people from being overbearing at the earliest levels.

However, they seem to have ignored this rule in MS. riven, yasuo, and lee all are quite fast, while people with little to no mobility spells are left at extremely low speeds.

This would definitely save us after trading or going in to last-hit.

i would be fine with her if her Qs would only be dashes if she moves towards enemies, so you can actually answe her early bulliing with ganks and punish her more for mistakes. The thing that makes her far worse tha other snowbally toplane bullys like daius or Xin is that she has massive escape potential if she over-extends.

Riven trades mobility for damage. A real fix would be to make the decision to use Q for movement a bit harder by increasing the CD on Q.

This would be true if Riven's Innate didn't stack up to three times. A huge chunk of her damage comes not from landing her Q, but from bopping people with her passive. If Riven's Innate were a use it or lose it sort of thing that didn't stack at all, then she would actually be losing damage if she used her abilities purely for mobility.
