Having forced smart-cast on makes these champions INCREDIBLY difficult to play.
Not everyone who plays your game is competitive and religiously knows the range of these spells.

Pikakashi1 votesJust for clarification, Smart-cast is when you activate the ability, markers appear that display the range for an ability to be cast, while Quick-cast is then the ability is activated, the ability is instantly cast.
And yes, I agree, I was playing Karthus for the first time in an ARAM once, but was not able to correctly judge the cast range of my q.
