Zilean's Passive when used should count towards assists

It heals your allies and increases their stats, sometimes that is all that is needed and that should be counted towards an assist. Sometimes that is all he can do because by the time he finishes channeling, the ally might dive into the enemy team before he can even speed them up.

I was about to downvote this without reading your argument (shame on me), but you're actually right about the heal part- it does heal them. It's still hard to say whether it should count as an assist is questionable still, because its still a natural one no matter how you look at it.

The argument that it's all Zil can do is a complete stretch, but I'll upvote and let the community decide.

I mean healing is also natural, you can just wait minutes or seconds for people to heal back their missing resources, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't count towards assists as that does help take down the enemy.

I didn't say that it is all what Zilean does, I am saying that sometimes he only has enough time to help someone level up before they go into the fight because he has to stand still for a while and the teammate goes head first into the fight.
