For the sake of my teammates, please let us mute pings

Riot, the ability to mute pings is long overdue. Please, please let us mute pings. If not for people like me, then for our teammates. I am sure I am not alone in this, so I will explain. For me, a retreat ping is like a red flag to a bull. If I am contemplating doing something risky, I will often back off if left alone. But if someone starts spamming retreat pings, I will charge straight into danger like a moron EXPLICITLY BECAUSE THEY USED MULTIPLE RETREAT PINGS. Of course, I can't actually explain this in game, because the answer to "WTF why did you do that?" "Because you told me not to in the most irritating way possible" makes you look like a crazy person.

Riot please, please have mercy on idiots like me. I am begging you.

want to mute pings? how about no......

were not abusing them, you're not listening in order to do what you want to accomplish

thats why theres a ping limit and SFX adjuster.

or ya know, feel free to head back to enemy T2 turret to farm alone with zero vision anywhere meanwhile when i see my mid laner roam and head your way, how would you like me to tell you that? or would you just accept your death willingly and chalk up the loss as "my $$$$ team"

you are not infallible. you make mistakes too, we're trying to help you by pinging, you are rejecting our help, for the sake of your in game pleasure, you are throwing your team under the bus to do whatever it is to make you happy, congrats. thank you for being the reason i lose my promo games. because i end up with an uncooperative player, who is incapable of change, and will not perform.

this is why i play mid, so i can literally throw you on my back, get double kills, and get the win anyway.
