Riot, the ability to mute pings is long overdue. Please, please let us mute pings. If not for people like me, then for our teammates. I am sure I am not alone in this, so I will explain. For me, a retreat ping is like a red flag to a bull. If I am contemplating doing something risky, I will often back off if left alone. But if someone starts spamming retreat pings, I will charge straight into danger like a moron EXPLICITLY BECAUSE THEY USED MULTIPLE RETREAT PINGS. Of course, I can't actually explain this in game, because the answer to "WTF why did you do that?" "Because you told me not to in the most irritating way possible" makes you look like a crazy person.

Riot please, please have mercy on idiots like me. I am begging you.

You can.

If you go into your sound settings, there is an adjustable fix for pings.

want to mute pings? how about no......

were not abusing them, you're not listening in order to do what you want to accomplish

thats why theres a ping limit and SFX adjuster.

or ya know, feel free to head back to enemy T2 turret to farm alone with zero vision anywhere meanwhile when i see my mid laner roam and head your way, how would you like me to tell you that? or would you just accept your death willingly and chalk up the loss as "my $$$$ team"
