So I did the 10 Flex Queue Calibration games and got Bronze V, and then I proceeded to climb until I was able to do my promo series, in where I won and was promoted to Bronze III, and then with the reset, I had to play the one extra game to determine my rank, I got Bronze V again... I played all day the other day to promote and now I'm back to where I started, this is infuriating. I'm hoping for a Rioter response to this mess.
Exact same thing happened to me.
Not to mention Flex Queue isn't even Solo/Duo Queue, so Im sure Ill be placed far lower than I want in that too.
BTW When is Solo/Duo Queue being opened? And when does Ranked Season begin? Because if you think it's bad to be reset now, it'll only happen again come regular season.
Happened to me too I got placed gold 1 played the reset game (which i won) and got placed sivler 1 this is so stupid
They announced a so called "Fix" for it, but it put people even lower in most Cases. I didn't get to play my game yet, hoping to get it done tonight. If it would place me higher than i originally placed, blessed Rito, if not I wouldn't care because I am getting 30 LP a win.
The new season should start mid december or early january. Last year's preseason went until the end of January from early november.
I would just try to play to get better the ranks will get reset in a few weeks anyways, not much of a point in playing during preseason.
