Infinity Edge should have as bad build path as Rabadons
Both serve their purpose, the more base stats you have, the stronger the damage you deal. However, now buying IE first is optimal for many ADC because it gives them one of highest powerspike at early lvls. Mages have no reason to build Rabadons because it is not cost efficient in early lvls compared to other items and its build path is way too bad.
(3400 gold): 70 AD + 20% Crit + 50% crit damage
+
+
+ 425 gold
(3800 gold): 120 AP + 35% AP
+
+
+ 1265 gold
To make Infirnity Edge Less appealing, remove 5 AD from Infinity Edge so that you are buying for only the unique passive and increase the cost of Infinity Edge to 3800. Also replace pickaxe with long sword so that ADC is forced to have a horrible build path to build into Infinity Edge. It should look like this after the changes:
(3800 gold) : 65 AD + 20% Crit + 50% Crit damage Up
+
+
+ 1350 gold
There, it looks around the same in terms of effectiveness as rabadons . Infinity Edge will serve as a late game item just like the APC. Only be strong when you have a good amount of AD. If you are getting edge at your first buy, it just means the item is broken. Think about getting rabadons first buy. It is supposed to be a late game item in the first place. The cost increase is there because ADC's build path is cheaper than APC, and APC should be reaching their full builds faster than ADC anyway. Even with 400 gold increase ADC will still have cheaper build paths(i believe). It isn't fair for ADC to have such a broken powerspike lategame while having arguable better midgame than mages.
