An Idea to stop people who troll Champion Select.

I recently decided to take a break from League, and just decided to come back today, and try to play a couple more ranked games before the season ends. The first Que I join is most situations in ranked were people only want to play their roles. Which is understandable because it's ranked. What bothers me though is when you get that one person who wont switch roles and cater to his team, and then starts flaming his teammates till he gets what he wants or someone dodges.

I don't like having to dodge games to be a "Good guy" the fact that I have to be that person is pretty irritating. So here is my suggestion. What if you were able to votekick in team select? This is obviously a really drastic suggestion but it's the only one that makes sense for people who troll before the game starts. A player could get nominated to be voted out, then if the team agrees (or a certain amount of players agree to kick him/her) they are kicked from the game and the game could possibly find another person to fill the spot, Or even just through us back into Que.

There is definitely a downside to this and people could just agree to vote for the sake of voting, just like people can report each other for absolutely no reason. I still feel like this could be something that could be helped. Votekicking could possibly make games have less troll in them strictly because they are being filtered by the players.

What do you guys think?

I think I already spend enough time going from queue to queue.

Here is what I proposed a LONG time ago..I think back at the end of season 3.

When you queue for a ranked match, it pops up a window that makes you pick at least 2 roles you can play. but it HAS to be at least 2. can be more if you'd like.

Then, IN champ select, you can actually see what each person checked. Therefor you can all basically, as a team, look to see what the best comp you guys will have.

So example would be

Player 1 Top/Mid

Player 2 Top/Jung/Support

Player 3 Mid/Adc

Player 4 ADC/Support

Player 5 Top/mid/Jung

From this you could EASILY come to the conclustion that:

Player 1 should go TOP

Player 2 should go Jung

Player 3 should go ADC

Player 4 should go support

Player 5 should go mid

Obviously things can get mixed around, but it would at least prevent people in Champ select from going, "BUT I ONLY HAVE TOP CHAMPS!!!!!", or "MID or AFK". You can, like adults go over what everyone should take based on preference.

Now yes, if you have a game where EVERYONE queue'd is Top/Jung....then you have a problem. But that is where I also suggested that they kind of adopt the TeamBuilder thing. Only allow players in a match that can cover every role. just like the example i posted.

Thoughts?

Riot should make it like this : When you queue , you pick the role you prefer to play in the ranked game .

Vote kick isn't feasible because it affects 10 people, whilst you're asking to influence it with just 4 votes.

Would be seriously annoyed having to waste 5 mins picking role just to get canceled because the other team think they are being trolled.

Not a huge fan of this... I've been berated by my other four teammates for picking my main (Heimer) after we agreed I could mid. Imagine how many scenarios would pop up where it became the other four players vetoing the champion instead of the player...

Like "oh eww Heimer?? Lets vote kick"

Another layer: the guy who wants to vote kick gets vote kicked by the other people because he's a dick. Then all of them just have to repeat the entire queue...

I think this is not a bad idea, you have no idea how many times this would have come in handy in the past. It would also give the kicked person an incentive to be nicer, as they wouldn't otherwise be able to find a game. Very healthy for all aspects.
