help a poor noobie in s7

Hi all! I'm a bronzie who reached silver 1 last season ( at the end I got a 6 troll and 3 afk streak and tilted myself so hard I felt back in bronze :p ) but is struggling a lot this season and can't climb.

I enjoy a lot utility mages and play mostly Lux ( couldn't guess eh :p ) in the midlane, some Ori and I used to play lots of ahri in the past. My secondary role is support in which I particularly enjoy nami and zyra, can play lulu, Janna and karma.

Now, last season I would try to take an advantage in my lane and if someone was in trouble go to help them out and likely kill their lane. This usually happened before the first teamfight, in which I had good chances to arrive fed.

This one when I reach the point in which I 'm comfortable to roam usually bot-lane has been already doublekilled twice, turret is gone and so is dragon, the first teamfight is usually to contest my own turret vs 3 fed enemies, of which at least 1 is likely tanky and so I'm useless vs him.. Oc we can't win that fight. Sometimes the same exact scenario happens in my side advantage and I just do nothing at all to contribute to the win except not feeding. I tried to roam earlier but I'm still not able to solo-kill someone at that stage so usually I end up giving away Cs and XP, basically handing all my lane pressure for no reason. When I'm support I can't really do nothing when we get 3/4 men ganked beside see it coming and running the hell out of there, still leaving a turret, drake and likely a kill on ADC ( seriously they hug turret and they can't seem to understand it won't save them) ..

Basically it seems that who got the best jungler wins no matter what ( unless someone afks/trolls) and I feel like I have 0 impact on my games.. Some days ago I lost a game in which I was 18/3/10 or something like that, we lost an early inhibitor in botlane, and we were literally stuck with struggling clearing minions the whole game plus deal with backdoors on inhibitor..

So, does anyone have any advices for me? Should I change champion ( sigh ) and try to learn something that can reliably roam early? Should I change role at all and learning to jungle since that seems the only role that is really influencing the game? ( I have the added handicap of not being used at all to the champions there.. )
