AFKs in Placement matches idea

Probably chose the wrong board for this as I don't post often but I digress. I went 7-3 in placements this year and only had one game with an AFK (unfortunately it was on my team this time but oh well. It happens) HUGE improvement from last year where in my placements I had what felt like an AFK every game and went 2-8 or 3-7 something like that. So something is going better than last year already! Last year I was super frustrated with ranked because of the larger amount of AFKers in Ranked than Normals. With the enhanced leaver buster implemented this season, why not, just for placement matches, have the game prevented toward both teams placements when there is an AFK? To make sure this isn't abused, if you AFK in your placements you're automatically in Bronze 5.

The big concern was that people would abuse the AFK loss prevention strategy if implemented. But no one is going to risk going into the depths of Bronze for their team by going AFK. If this was implemented, it prevents people from going AFK by putting leavers in Bronze, and it prevents the people who don't leave having to get from the depths of bronze or silver or gold or wherever they get put because of multiple games with an AFK in placement matches. Its not fair to the person who is getting placed, to the 9 players the person who gets placed too low has to play with in their next X number of games to get out of where they don't belong and to all the AFKers who get the loss without dealing with their teammates wrath like the 4 players who are forced to sit in the game with hoping the enemy team fucks up and gives them an ace.

If this isn't possible or deemed a good idea what about a "loss prevention vote." This would only be enabled if the team has had the leaverbuster triggered. The enemy team could vote to give a loss prevented at the end of the game if they felt the other team outplayed them. My last game the enemy team agreed they didn't deserve to win, but got to win based on my team having an AFK. They would have passed this vote, and both teams would have felt better about what happened in the game. The winning team would have got their win, the losing team wouldn't have a loss in a game both teams felt had the better team. That has probably been suggested, so forgive me for being lazy and not looking through the boards as to why that has proven to be a bad idea. It couldn't really get abused if done properly, and all the tools are already implemented in the game, (loss prevention for server issues, surrender vote command, summoner name turning red in the post game lobby) so all it needs is minor refining.

Please based god Riot, help the poor souls dealing with AFKs. I can deal with it, but some people lose their minds.
