The warding system is in a really bad shape at the moment

In lower elos warding is virtually non-existant and one of the main reasons for this is that the only roles able to put 3 wards simultanously are support and jungle plus in most cases the jungler will not even consider buying his ward item ("but i need to 1v1" - yeah, sure) , so it's basically only the support (again!) and only post level 9 because the ward item is so unnecessarily expensive that most supports don't buy it before (and no other role can afford to buy it without losing their lane), which is a joke especcially when you consider the reason why they limited placeable wards to 3 in the first place - "so you can't justify putting the entire burden of warding on the support anymore" - yeah that really worked out Riot, good job! m(

Why did Riot implement trinkets in the first place? They are so unbelievable useless in its current state, yeah place 1 ward for 60 seconds every 120 seconds huh? you want to place more than 1 ward? Well, fuck you mister.

Why did they remove buyable wards from the store? In my opinion that was the most retarded removal of an item of all time.

TL;DR: i want the season 4 warding system back! It was just perfect.

I don't get that, the problem in low elo is not that people have too little wards, it is that they do not place enough of them. Also, nowadays basically no jungler buys sightstone - and rightfully so. Watch pro games, it is possible to have a lot of vision. Having more wards available won't fix that though.

And the by far most ridiculous thing about you complaining about vision wards being removed is you NOT BUYING ANY CONTROL WARDS IN HALF OF YOUR GAMES AS A SUPPORT MAIN. YOU are the reason why there is not enough vision in low elo. Why do you need more wards when you are not even able to place those that you can play?

item 3361 I apsolutely loved this item before when you had 250g tp spend on nothing. You bought that and you could effectively ward what the fuck you wanted if your support is shit or other people don't ward. I don't remember why they removed it, "something something nobody buys it", but I think it was just so their sweet esports don't suffer at longer game times because at lcs everyone had one, thus making the games last longer.

Eh, I'd have to disagree that in lower elos warding is non exsistant. I was in bronze earlier last week and I always see people warding, buying sightstone and using it, and control wards to clean out stealth wards. From what I've seen from countless "high elo" twitch streams is a lot less wards. But this is due to those people having excellent map awareness and glimpsing at their map every few seconds to see what's up. On top of placing wards in traffic zones. Now, from MY experience from being in bronze and getting into silver, (which I have to say silver players act the exact same as bronze) Is that people will place wards, and not look at their map except to ping mia's or dragon/baron.

The problem is not the wards, it's lack of map awareness.

Before even being able to buy sightstone: Ping wards on cooldown, adc pushes up without warding, gets killed. "wtf sup no wards!"

as a sup main i always get sightstone/control wards back 1/2. and I agree that often in low elo people do not ward but it's not because they don't have it available. all too often i see my adc and other roles just sit on their full ward totem and never use it. sometimes i have gotten raged at by my adcs for asking them to ward since I'm out and don't have sightstone yet. people need to understand that EVERYONE needs to ward and that they have the totem, use it.

New ward system is fine.

The problem with low elo warding is that people just don't ward or look at the minimap. This can only be solved through educating the playerbase or creating a stronger tutorial.

Old trinkets were best trinkets.

Uh I get item 2049 item 2055 first back every time. If there's not enough vision in your own lane, get your own item 2055 as well.

Vision isn't "too expensive" - it's friggin invaluable. And 800 for item 2049 is just chump change.

If you SOLELY rely on item 3340 for your vision then that's your fault. If you don't get item 2049 till level 9 (I usually have it pre-6) then that's your fault. The game gives you options.
