Yi Alpha strike does not dodge stacking or channeling abilities ?

So yi's Q is simple you become untargatable, one game i was about to 2 shot a viktor and i Q when i am sure i took 2 stacks off his gravity field, viktor's W , right when i came out of my Q i thought the stacks would refresh or soemething but i got my 3rd stack and i was stunned, losing the kill..

another time, nocturne was channeling Unspeakable Horror to me, i timed it so i would alpha strike it on the last second to not be feared, however i came out of alpha strike and i was feared for so long, losing another kill, this happeneing to me few times, theres also 1 part i Q instantly but his Unspeakable Horror keeps channeling when i was in my Q. Was that meant to be like that ?

nope, you can not be hit, you can dodge whatever attack coming to you, a basic attack, karthus ulti etc.

I meant existing AoE's. Should have been a bit more clear on this. Things like Rumble's Flamespitter or Shyvana's Burnout.

you if u Q while flame spitter, you dont take dmg during the period... same for shyvana's burn out.. unspeakable horror is not even an aoe, just channeling until youre feared, but it keeps channeling in alpha strike..

You do take the damage but only if it was just the one Shyvana or Rumble that you Q'd. Since Alpha Strike also jumps to other enemies, you don't notice it if this is the case as he moves out of range of the spell thereby out of range of damage. Nocturne's Unspeakable Horror is a tethered Channeled. Abilities that make you untargettable don't break them unless you move out range. Vlad's pool is an example of this. I can apply Drain as Fiddlesticks on a Vladimir and he can go pool but it doesn't matter because it won't break unless he steps out of range. Same applies to Nocturne's Unspeakable Horror's interaction with Yi's Q here.
