[Feature/Mechanic Suggestion] Mercy Rule + LP Penalties
Now, for people who played baseball pre-collage knows that there is this thing called the "Mercy Rule"
For those that dont know, If the winning team is ahead by So much, they can declaire "Mercy"
What this means is that the enemy team could Accept or Deny it. If they accept, the game is ended with the winning team.. well.. winning.
What i'm suggesting is something like that, but slightly different.
What this would do is At +30 kills the winning team can declare "Mercy". If 3/5 votes are accepted, Then the winning team will win the game, HOWEVER, The losing team will only lose 1/2 the LP they would have.
Now, people are still looking at the title and saying "But whats this LP Penalty thing!?"
Alright, so, People who played games with an equalizer mechanic, This would work by simply reducing LP gained by so much. Now, while this wont 100% work for its intended use, Its designed to counter-act LP farming.
Now, the scaling is as provided, and is rather low begining to end... (Also, before you get mixed up, The penalty will Subtract from your total)
Winning 5 games in a row: no LP penalty Winning 10 games in a row: 5% LP Penalty Winning 15 games in a row: 10% LP penalty So on So on till you reach 30 games at the max of 25% LP penalty.
Upon 1 week after the first penalty, it will refresh and you'll be back down to 0% LP penalty.
However, if you are to lose at any time, the counter is refreshed.
