Banning teammate's champion is such a bullsh*t

If i pick a champion before the ban phase, why are my teammates still able to ban it? I think if you ban your teammates champ he will get tilted and be forced to play a champ he doesn't know how to play (so well) OR he will just give up and run down mid. So i really can't see the reason why it is possible.

This is an age old topic.

If you want to play a high pick champion but you are all the way on the bottom of the pick order, I will not risk the other team taking that champion just because you want to play it. Simple as that.

You can argue that trading exists, but how often do you come across a player that has a high champion pool.
