Please put a timeline into when people can play new champs in ranked. This is ruining half of my games. It's really unfair and unfun. If I ban the champ then they hold the game hostage because you won't allow people to leave a game where it is absolutely toxic without punishing me. Then toxic behavior pours into my brain and I become toxic. Please fix this simple thing. New champs should not be allowed in ranked until 1 month after released. P E R I O D
Toxicity isn't contagious unless you allow it to be, and whether new champs are allowed in rank either at their release or a month down the road doesn't change anything. Why not have them earlier rather than later? What's your reason for not wanting to have them in ranked? You're going to have to learn how to play against them eventually, why not do that as soon as possible instead of when people truly master that champion?
In addendum: If you are aware that your teammate is wanting to play that new champ and you ban it on purpose, how could you not expect them to be upset about it?? THAT is what's really toxic.
