Do 'throwers' and those who purposely go into Ranked inexperienced actually get punished?

I've only been on LoL since the beginning of season 6. Almost made it to S5 before the end of the season, carrying probably 70% of won games as support and mid. There are so many games that are lost because of a 0/15 person who just want to ruin everyone else's day. I feel like I'll never leave bronze because of this. Do those who throw games actually get punished after reports? I've been given 10-min penalties for leaving queues due to other people being trolls... Why should we be punished when others are purposely being dicks?

Well you've played like 160 games with 47% win rate and ur bronze 4. Probably should focus on fundamental things like last hitting and not dying for no good reason, rather than how bad your teammates are. 100% guarantee you're no better than them after you've played that many games and you're sitting in bronze 4. You know, your enemy team is bronze also, not like the odds are stacked against you.

Anivia sup with a zzrot is troll af. Try playing something meta, or something that could even possibly be good if you really want to climb.

nope, you only get punished for reacting to them and drawing attention to them

seems fair right? your RP dollars at work!

Alrighty, first off, you're playing Anivia which is EXTREMELY off meta right now.

You've played 153 games with Anivia in ranked and only have a 46% winrate? An addition to that, your average KDA is 6.3 / 6.2 / 8.7 . Unless you improve your gameplay, you're sticking in bronze 4 son.

I wouldn't worry about your teams, just focus on your self. Set a goal like 70-80 cs by 10 minutes. Don't worry about the feeders and trolls. Those will always be there. But if you can carry every game and NOT feed when everyone else on your team is feeding, you'll be fine.

why would riot punish people simply for being inexperienced with ranked? they might as well prevent anyone from ever getting into rank at that point
