I played ahri bot and someone flamed me. is it really my fault that we lost?

We lost the game cause he support lulu just spam her abilities and i couldnt cs at all. I got good trades but support got so greedy and keeps feeding. Is it really my fault that we lost？

When i picked ahri. we already had mid zed,top renekton,jg ez and i thought i'll pick an ap that's mobile enough to actually fight with these 3 champs

renekton and lulu just feed his ass off which eventually got enemy mage support and top got so fed

Was it wrong you went off meta? no. Is it your fault you lost because of your pick? unlikely. I agree with Research, best to do this kind of stuff with a friend. I don't play singed jungle unless I'm with a friend who usually either splits or tanks with me. Helps us tilt the enemy more.

Part of the reason why you should pick meta champions for lanes is because you're playing with randos, and people don't know how your play style. It's better to do this sort of thing with a duo who knows what to expect, otherwise it can just exacerbate your teammates uncertainty.

To me, mid or support are the only roles that need to fill the AP dmg of a team in most cases. There are better choices than an AP champ for top and jungle, and especially for a role specified as the ADC. The purpose of an ADC is to deal out constant, consistent dmg. Other roles typically aren't suited to be able to safely deal constant damage. Otherwise, your team comp suffers from rotating burst dmg, which is harder to pull off.

its not about being off meta. its about picking something you dont know well enough to decide or conceptualize it being useful or relevant to the team. but you selfishly picked it anyway because you wanted to try it because it seemed fun. thats wrong.

its also wrong for your team to yell at you for doing so.

however.... its a very good chance the game was lost because you had an ahri adc who has no scaling additional damage in her kit or anything which scale off ad. leading to "you have a somewhat mobile adc" but literally 10 other champs can do that better, like kalista, trist, or sivir.

in the event the game was lost because of you, they are right to put blame on your after the game is over so you know better for next time. they're still obligated to try and win in game to make your pick work anyway.

Ez is more of an ad caster so because of you, your team was lacking a real adc. This means that the enemy team would have a far easier time getting objectives. So yeah it kinda is your fault you guys lost. Also i don't think you should be calling the renekton a feeder since you didn't do much better than he did.

But more importantly if you had went adc ahri i might have thought that you were trying something off meta but the fact that you went ap ahri gives the impression that you were the one trolling because mid didn't swap with you

Unless you were playing Attack damage ahri there is zero reason for her to ever be bot lane she is way too useless without level advantages.

Picking an AP champ for bot is fine when top, jungle, and mid are AD.
