And even those sometimes get ignored. You're kidding yourself if PBE feedback does anything for actual champion changes (unless you're Lee Sin).
It's also a nice area to show off skins and new champions without putting them out live, to get a feel of how the community thinks of them.
Hmm ... That's about it.
Zmuecat1 votesActually, VelKoz has had his changes on the PBE reverted. I know, I was a huge complainer about them when they were about to change him because people took him support (like me, so I was biased).
You're right, A LOT of the stuff still goes through, but you shouldn't not say something. They don't listen as often as we like, but they still listen.

Wait, so something got enough of a voice for it to be reverted? Amazing. Hmm ... I wonder what was the deciding factor in that?
Zmuecat1 votesI like to pretend it was because I was a keyboard warrior and spoke up in every single thread about his changes.

It's nice to imagine that we are famous/well-known/respected and our words/actions actually hold weight, huh? lol
Ironclad Dragon1 votesSo... it does pretty much its job?

Sometimes. However, it's advertised that champion changes are tentative, thus giving people a sense of voice, hope, that bad changes can be reverted. Other than Lee Sin and (strangely) Vel'Koz, I haven't found or heard of any other meaningful changes being reverted.
