Tired of "Win-Day, Lose-Day"

Log in and win all my games, other lanes collapse to fights, people show up, have good competition. Then log in the next day, every game people can't play their role, don't collapse, lose every game, same elo?

Can we talk about why RIOT designs it this way?

What do you want to see in the next patch notes? Something like this?

Usability issues:

It turned out that some players were seeing high and low streaks due to the nature of random elements in both the game and their mentality from day to day so we have adjusted the fundamental rules of the universe to ensure that the balance from variance is far more localized. It's kinda complex to explain but in the most basic terms you can remember that coin flips will now tend towards a Heads - Tails - Heads - Tails pattern compared to streaks of Heads or streaks of Tails and extrapolate that sense to all elements of your daily life, including League of Legends.

I don't have Win/Lose Days, but it does seem to go in a pattern where I will lose for 3-4 games in a row (or have very bad game and still win), then the next 3-4 are extremely easy. I have my doubts about how the matchmaking is working when my team gets stomped 3 games in a row then it's the exact opposite 3 games in a row afterwards. Games that are actually closely matched are pretty rare

you might be my league twin man... I'll have a day where I swear my team has 7 extra fingers to qwer enemies into oblivion and the next day I'll get a team arguing over what glue tastes best....

It's absolutely too consistent to be unintentional. They have all but admitted it to me when I have emailed support. What I used to do was just log out until win day. I would not play because I cared about my ranking.

What's upsetting is that, I don't get to play.

What bothers me most though....is that it's intentional. for all my work, I cannot carry 4 people that hard. At least not these 4.

It's because of riot's matchmaking system. The more you win, the more you lose. Riot's matchmaking system will actually lower your teammates mmr and increase your opponents mmr to push you further towards a 50 percent win rate.

Then play every other day

Yeah, for me its more like a good week/month followed by a bad week/month. I was at a 65% win rate at the start of the season, over the past 2 weeks its dropped to a 49% win rate because of ridiculous game after ridiculous game. No one in their right mind would consider these teams balanced. I'm not bitter about losing, I'm bitter about not even having a fair fight. I'm fine with losing if its a close game with good plays on both sides. It just feels crummy when one side is vastly superior. Oh well.

Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.
