jax nerfed and still got a 53% winrate

Jax is a hyperscaling champion who SHOULD have had some of his early laning power removed because he can get through laning phase too easily for someone that's supposed to be needing to scale. Instead they slightly nerfed his scaling. Which means he still gets through laning phase just as easily and reaches hypercarry status. Shaving off a couple points of his FREE damage late game means next-to-nothing. He still out-duels pretty much everyone he would out-duel before. He might need a whole extra aa on squishies to kill them... an extra 4 on tanks. But that's not going to ruin his day or cost him anything much in most cases.

It's like adding 0.1 armor scaling to malphite w at max rank. Sure it would affect his damage output somewhat, but he's still going to lose the matchups where he would lose, it won't affect his laning phase much if at all, and he will still be good at doing all the things he was useful for before without being significantly better at them that it likely changes the outcome of 99.999% of fights.

jax has been one if not the top tier TOP LANE champ for over a year.

problem is he is nearly good vs anything. you are ranged ok i max Q we are melee ill max W i am in a bad match up early get E , just farm and scale. nearly every keystone works well with him, he can go tp or ignite has two passives, gets free defensive when he uses ult for getting damage.

too hard to build against, cant be in prolong fights vs him. typically too tanky to be burst down.

just imagine if he had a real fukin weapon

Conqueror is the problem. Fervor of Battle was so much healthier.

yea he is super strong i used to play him a lot and i can even step back and see his pretty strong most people who don't think he is are the ones who main him

They nerfed his late game.Wich doesnt make any fucking sense cause there is no late game anymore.So yea that nerf was useless.Really ,irelias -5ms nerf was better than this shit.

He remains strong because Riot barely touched him. They nerfed the damage of every third auto on his ult slightly and only at ult ranks 2 and 3. He lost a grand total of 20 to 40 damage per third auto at those ranks.

His Q, W, and E were left untouched, his passive was left untouched, and his stats were left untouched.

His pick rate merely dropped a little because of it, but his win rate was barely dented at all.

It's OK. It's Riot. It's totally acceptable for them and only them to announce nerfs that do nothing and features that achieve the exact opposite of their intended effect.

No one else can be allowed to have special treatment though. Riot is super special. They need it because they're a small indie developer. LUL.

Dude, jax can have a lot of issue but I promise you his E is clearly NOT the big problem in his kit...

Ask yourself this, if his ult passive was removed, would jax still be good with his current state? The answer is probably yes, because of triforce, sterak’s, titanic hydra, and most importantly, essence reaver.

He used to have issues with tanks, but now conqueror solves that issue for him.

But hashashin says hes balanced...

The Riot Games special used to be hard nerf a champion, then nerf the item or rune they relied on, then they're trash. The new Riot Games special is wait literal months to years to "get data and not overreact" while a blatantly absurd character ruins the game, then finally give them a little tap on the wrist and call it good while the champion continues to ruin the game.
