Riot, changing the amount of IP gained is a vital aspect to consider if you want new players.

The amount of IP gained hasn't changed since S1, back when you originally had 20 champions released (with low costs). The end of season one was in August 2011, and there were roughly 80 champions, the majority of which didn't cost 6300 IP. It will be FIVE YEARS in August since season one, where we now have 131 champions, OVER HALF of which cost 4800 IP or more. The 'grind' to just get one current champion is achievable in 42 GAMES, assuming you win each one--a ridiculous amount of time that feels more punishing than rewarding.

I understand that this is an aspect that you want to look at carefully, but access to champions (and runes) is an important factor in learning to improve at the game, and new players may be put off at a crutch for the first 30 levels that limits them to rudimentary champions and literal decreases in ability. Please consider raising the IP gain per game, or at least being consistent with ways to increase it, such as the Party Weekends which have seemed to vanish into thin air.
