Jerks who steal your gold

Today we had our team fizz mid lane go up against a varus. After feeding him about 8 times he proceeded to steal 9-10 of my kills. not secure. He would run away when I was fighting and literally dash in at the last HP even though I was in no danger. He ended up with like 600 gold more than me even though he stole wayy more kills.

We were lucky varus was the only good enemy team member but how do you deal with this crap? You need the gold to stay ahead and carry and it became very difficult for me to keep up with this buttwipe stealing my kills.

From the look of the match, you just did really poorly.

I did not get the assists because in some cases I had to tank for my team as you can see, but I was the one reducing the enemys team health down to 100 hp.

Further if you look at my gold I did not do so poorly, I had more gold than taliyah and nami (of course), and not far away from fizz who had numerous kills. I did my best to keep my GPM going, and I did.

I have an example of a 48 CS 2 Kill Sejuani having 750+ more Gold than a 258 CS 3 Kill Gangplank, which I have posted in these Forums. In other words, plenty of ways to get Gold. The Sejuani did have 11 more Assists, but that doesn't make up for 1 Less Kill and 210 Less CS.

So if Fizz is stealing Kills... find Gold in other manners. While CS is the most efficient, as Sejuani proves CS isn't the only way to get a ton of Gold (Sej had over 16K Gold, GP had about 15.25K Gold).

Hopefully this helps you in the future when looking to maintain a Gold Lead. Shut Downs, Global Objectives... these are the way of the Gold. And consistent CS, always consistent CS helps... but a CS Lead CAN be over-come by other various methods.

Well, if you were going for Varus in his lane... you could have avoided it by killing in other lanes.

He didn't really steal the kills if you invaded his lane to get them. SO you get and keep that Gold Lead by killing in your lane and taking Objectives with Global Gold.

Now, if he was coming down to Bot, waiting for you guys to engage (instead of Ganking) then diving in last second to steal... you'd have a case.

Also, if Varus could kill him before you kills Varus, then hanging back and not being an 'easy mark' is the right thing to do. Not suggesting that Fizz was that smart or calculating, just adding another layer to the scenario.

This was slighly out of laning phase as our bot lane annihilated their bot lane, and varus annihilated out bot lane turrets so there was some roaming back and forth between lanes.

I mean, Fizz probably carries harder than the champion you played, because Fizz is such a fun and balanced champion.
