The reason people lose in PLAT elo

Closing out games..

I swear in the last ten games I've played, the ones I lost, my team had a gold lead for the majority, and the ones I won, the other team had a huge gold lead on us. I won a game where my Darius int fed top 10 kills, and we still won at the end with a 4k gold deficit.

No one in this elo stresses baron enough. I've seen so many turnaround games just off of throwing baron in this elo seriously its insane. In lower elo, it was if you have a 20 kill lead, you win. Now it's like, if you give up infernal, everyone is good enough mechanically on the other team to come back or if you give up baron, your base is gone no matter how far ahead you are.

People need to push towers, drakes, and barons when their ahead

I've thrown so many games and I've won so many come from behind games lately because eople are good enough at this point that you can't screw around with leads chasing kills anymore.

Also should mention that half of plat is full of douchebags who think their gods and don't need a team. That's a big part of the problem.

TL;DR: Get objectives, stop chasing kills, It's easy to throw once people get decent at the game
