Diamond is inflated with good players you should add that. Its population increased a lot in season 6.
It used to be the top 1% or 1.1% of the league population but somehow, thank dynamic Queue maybe. The population increased by 0.7%.
The sum is now 1.8% diamond players in the League community.
As a plat player that started my League career in low bronze, I can completely relate to all of these below challenger (I do see the occasional diamond, so I've seen this attitude). In my opinion, plat is the single worst elo to be at. I also unfortunately belong here, so I can't climb out. I'm stuck at the least fun of the elo brackets with some of the worst people I've ever had to deal with. Feels bad man.

There is also separate Diamond elo, called Diamond 5, the land of lost hopes, crushed dreams and boosting service discounts.
The Bronze and Silver views are spot on. It was easier to carry in bronze because teammates tried and if they flamed I just muted them. Overall the teams were quite balanced. In silver you get players who go Garen support with TP/Ignite, and adcs who will literally go down mid and feed if you take 3 CS when they aren't even in lane.
I'd characterize Silver as being that grey area where you could have a super easy win, or lose the troll roullette and get a jungle Janna. That type of game is one I hate more than being destroyed by better enemies or more coordinated teams. Losing because of 1 troll on your team feels worse than losing because of 1 super insanely good enemy.
I am deffo comfy in Gold, so spot-on there. ^^

I really enjoy Gold for the most part. Low Gold is a bit of a mixed bag though. Gold V is pretty much just "silver players in transition" so they do a lot of dumb stuff. The players got substantially better in Gold around Gold 3 and up.
I am Gold and I belong there so I'm quite happy.
Silver though. Never forget.

honestly, gold is the nicest people ive ever met. bronze is bronze obviously, toxic. silver is people just wanting gold for the skin, so will tell you how shit you are because they deserve the skin. people in gold are super chill. they got what they want. plat people think they are better than you, so will put you down. same with diamond. ive only met a few challenger/master players, and its like 50-50 of nice vs bronze attitude.
My buddy is Bronze, here is how it usually goes for him
Him: "I had a shit team last game, and before that, I had a noob jungler, and before that, they had a 5 man smurf team, and before that we had an afk, and before that I got camped, and before that my team trolled and ff at 20, and before that support picked teemo and trolled, and before that the enemy had a lag switch. I deserve atleast silver 1 but I keep getting trolled by riot.
Me: "you have won in your entire match history, and you had a negative kda with low farm every game and you played new champs each time, maybe that is your issue?"
Him: "nah man, its shit teams, watch, 1v1 me and ill show you how good i am."
I'm Silver and I close to NEVER try first time champs and new builds on Ranked.
In fact, I only play 5 champions in Ranked on a regular basis (more like 4) and I know them inside out.

I would like to take this time and shed light on a problem that exists currently in league of legends.
I have recently taken a detour to bronze, and have fallen almost as low as possible: bronze 5, 0 lp.
There are a lot of players there with dubious internet connection. To the extent, that once every 2-3 games there will be an afk (not a rage quit), and a good portion of all games fail to start (remake).
I think, even if you are bad, it does not mean you should be deprived of being able to play the game just because the other guy keeps logging in and dropping after the game begins.
Then you get to Diamond as a one trick and people on your team ban your champ to troll you.

Am in Bronze, have not yet come across the "my team is shitty" and "fuck wrong summoner spells" yet. You'd be surprised how relatively decent these players are - they're not all shitty. Just give them a morale boost and they'll try not to FF @ 20!
Bronze: People with toasters Silver: Still using windows XP
From earlier seasons' experience in bronze and silver I am pretty sure internet connection and in game graphic lag is one of the main reasons why a lot of players are unable to climb. I was hard stuck silver V at one point, I got new internet as well as having a Ethernet cable, and I got to gold V in no time.
