I have to agree with but at the same time, it seems more like he's the support you can always count on when you don't know the enemy's comp. He's just always a safe pick. Not because of any OP reason but because unless the enemy goes with a troll bot lane, he's able to do his job and that's shield his allies.

There's also the objectives god that is . Shields and healing ult that can double as a knockback. Q and W are great CC, even if the Q is easily telegraphed.
