Lux being cc'd doesn't let her second E be casted/proc'd .

...Explain.

Do you understand what a stun does?

I'm plat IV I think I got a good idea. And I didn't say stun I said cc. If the first E is casted she should be able to pop it regardless of if she's cc'd or not. Is there a reason she shouldn't be able to?

Edit: Nope I did say stunned, I meant cc. Sorry

Maybe because she needs counterplay to her, for immobile champions, undodgeable E?

Lux has loads of counter play. Dodge her q and all inning her is easy as 123. Her E is the only reliable thing she has to poke with. Being able to use any form of cc to stop it from being popped eliminates all her damage possible if you stand behind 2 minions. Try her out yourself.

CC someone that stands twice your range away from you.

Yes, Lux has counterplay. Yes, to kill you she HAS to snare you. No, it's not an excuse to have an undodgeable ability.

DIL2061 votes

you keep saying lux has an undodgable E like it's hard to dodge it. I don't know what ELO you're in bot dodging her E is pretty easy.

Lauchmelder1 votes

I don't know what elo YOU are in but calling her E dodgeable by immobile champions is utter bullshit.

DIL2061 votes

I don't know what ELO you're in but if you can't manage to ever dodge a lux E just because you're not a mobile champ is probably saying something about your skill level.

And I'm Plat IV thanks.

Considering the Lux has any kind of skill it's not dodgeable.

And I'm good enough to dodge several skillshots thrown at me at once, that says something about my skill level

She'd have counterplay if her hitboxes were accurate to her visuals.

She'd have counterplay if her hitboxes were accurate to her visuals.

at least she HAS visuals.. unlike champs like Vladimir

"A unit that is stunned is unable to control its movement, declare attacks, cast abilities, activate items or use the summoner spells Flash and Teleport for the duration."

E is an ability, therefore it can't be cast while stunned.

But yet tryndamere can still cast his ult while stunned

DIL2062 votes

literally just lost the argument. And Casting E is the ability. Procing the second active shouldn't count because it's technically not even apart of her character anymore.

Yasuo hard counters lux... windwall counters the champion.

lots of champs have this issue... i find it WORST on Ziggs as i can easily place the satchel and time to dodge the CC but i cant get it to detonate before the cc hits me.. this is really annoying and should be fixed/ changed.

i mean we already CAST the ability.

its not like lux is sending a projectile again.. he is making the old one explode which what i assume is mental powers.

ziggs is probably pressing a detonate button in his hand.. i don't see how getting stunned would affect either of these. what make it even worse is if your ROOTED you CAN detonate it but u wont move...

i mean hell.. in the Ekko trailer we saw him using his TEETH to turn the dial to activate chronobreak...

im sure lux has the capacity to mentally detonate something she already cast when stunned

This isn't Lux specific, a lot of champions abilities can be 'shut off' or 'stopped' by cc. Gragus is a fine example.

I'm not sure you could convince me that she should be allowed too.. If she's cc'd - she should not really be able to finish bursting someone. Lux's whole kit and thematic revolves around safety. Stay back and poke. Balance-wise i think she's alright - maybe a minor buff.
