What? My first time placements with all Silvers (both teams)?

League of Legends Match History

Look at the link... I don't understand the point of this. The poor guys on both teams probably thought I was a newborn or a cat left alone on someone's keyboard. They even said "Ez is probably new at league" which I am (been playing for a couple of months now) and my support even left the lane and went AFK for a while... this is ridiculous. I lose way more than I win and when I check who I was matched against, oh, silvers, golds and even plats. What? I'm getting fisted (that's how I will refer to being totally and brutally stomped and annihilated with little to no chance to do anything) most of the time with some casual good wins and losses here and there. You know, when you lose but it's like "Ok, that was a good match. GG". Nope, fisting and fisting. Oh and fisting.

I heard they match you with higher elos and stuff because your whatever mmr / lp is kinda decent or something, is this right? If so, it kinda looks good in theory but in practice / reality / games this is totally not worth for them or for me. Is this dynamic queue? Please, someone explain because I really have no clue.

I apologize to both teams. I really try my best in every game (even if it is -∞/800/-89.5) and I guess that's why it feels extremely awful losing like this.

So good lucks and... sigh... yeah

Silver is average elo. Placements start at average elo. If you're still new to the game, play normals until you're good enough to really give ranked games a go. That's not advice to keep you out of ranked, more just because if you play a ton of ranked now you will have a lot more difficulty raising your rank to your skill level as you improve.

If this is your placement matches, then I think they do put you with Silvers usually (that's where most people end up, but since they've reduced the exp requirement to hit 30, more are ending up in bronze I think). Gold isn't too surprising, but Plat players is simply the poor matchmaking system which has and always will be broken. I do suggest you stay out of ranked for a bit longer tbh, I don't know what your other games look like, but you only had 61 CS that game for a 20 minute game which is pretty horrendous (no offense). You actually didn't do too bad that game as far as deaths go imo, damage will come with more CS, so practice csing (there's multiple training regimens that are on these forums and youtube if you look them up, they're not exciting, but they definitely help).

It is placements, where you get straight into an high silver game. It is a stomp, but it's okay after a while. Check my post with half xp to level 30 and you will see what I'm talking about. Also first 5 games are more important than the last 5.
