Champions losing their identity is sad

I'm writing this as I just saw on the PBE that Aatrox revive is being removed. I mean Aatrox revive was like his most teased identity when he was revealed. He changed a lot with his rework, but they tried to keep some of his core identity ability... and now they are simply removing it, maybe because it's not good on that reworked Aatrox.

But by doing so, you killed his early identity, and honestly what is he now? I mean he still is the old Aatrox, but reworked, reworked, reworked... until he is some sort of leftover of what he once was, in term of identity. He is a great champ, OP and all, but meh identity. This is sad for early, hardcore Aatrox mains. (I am not one of them).

I know people praise Warwick rework, but I don't. I have 1 million mastery point on him, but to me Ww lost his identity too. Man look at a wolf hunting on youtube. Look at what they do on your screen: they hide, run at their prey, bite them, run away, come back....

Man the old ww movement speed boost allowed him to do just that. Run in, bite, run out. I loved that feeling of fighting like an actual wolf.

Now the movement speed is out of combat only, and I lost that feeling. To me, ww identity died with the rework because of that.

I am sure you could find old champion identity destroyed. I remember reading a good explanation on Gangplank and on Urgot.
