7 Years, and Riot still hasn't found a way to stop people from trolling in champ select?

Not possible. It just a nature of gaming... every game have a negative player. Just like in reality, you cannot stop the crimes no matter how many of them been caught. However they can reduce it by giving out punishments.

It's impossible for any game developer to do this without making every player's experience miserable. If they do that, they'll lose a lot of their already shaky player base.

In 7 years from 1990, Racism was becoming eradicated, computers evolved from being hundreds of cubic feet to mere rectangular boxes, and tons of animated films WITH SOUND were hitting the box office and theaters. In 7 years, hundreds of people working for riot can't fix a simple problem. Is that impossible?

What exactly do you think they should do about it? It's not really easy to make a system that can make sure the person is trolling and going to lock in nunu jungle unless somebody dodges.

They should have something that reads champ select logs, but people will always find a way around a built system.

There is nothing that can be done about trolls in champ select unless the non-culprit players suffer too. Part of every PvP game involves dealing with trolls, get over it please.

Also, what in the hell does 7 years from 1990 even mean? I think a math lesson is required.

League has been around for 7 seasons, that's 7 years, now I'm going to compare it to 7 years of progress of humanity.

Too bad you don't understand how game companies work though. They don't have hundreds of people on every single detail of the game. They have a hand full of people per part that interacts with other hand fulls of people that focus on other parts.

Each champion design team has maybe 10 people at most, balance team has maybe 15-20 at most, etc etc. You don't have 200 people working on a single champion, you don't have 200 people looking at game balance, that's just not how development works. You have a small team that talks to other small teams, that's it, that's how games get developed over time.

Extra Note: Racism still heavily exists in America and every other location around the globe.
