A bit dissappointed with this reset of flex ranked

Ended last season as Gold 4, Played this season with some friends of mine who are diamonds but I could still do placement matches because they had not yet been placed either.

only 2 of the games did I que with a buddy who was adc (I play support) out of 10 games, we won 7 and lost 3. I lost lane in one of those 3. about three other games bot lane was even I'd say, and the rest bot lane won. Placed Gold 5 in flex Played another game with a diamond from last year. Won, got 29 lp I believe Then reset happens played another placement match with another diamond. (different friend again) both of us in placements again Won, most of the enemy team and ours was diamonds, some plat's (we went even in lane against a diamond and plat, we should have won but my adc didn't back when I pinged warning that enemy was rotating down from mid and so he/she overstayed and died.)

I end up with a new placement of Silver 3...

less than thrilled...

And as to anyone who says I was carried or boosted. I won my lane the majority of the games we played, with random adc's.

• doesn't really matter, I know if I play enough games, I'll end up in the correct division. It's just a challenge getting the time in for the games, and having some quality players on your team to support. Support may be able to win their lane, by being good, but it's much harder to win the game solo. And you can only do so much if your dmg dealers are out of position and get caught.
