New Support Items

Greetings Summoners,

im main support and often come in situations where either a laner refuses to defend its lane or we have an AFK in our team. Since im more of a positive thinker, i dont give up in these situations and sometimes have to defend or even push lanes. Here comes the problem: The new support items give you a debuff that decreases the gold a support gets from lane minions after a certain amount. I always hesitate defending lanes if i have this debuff, since this destroys the gold my team could get, even if its absolutely necessary to defend the lane.

Please riot, remove that debuff from the support items. Its not that supports get too much gold anyway and supporters that STEAL farm get reported by most players.

They removed it when you have fully completed the item.

they definitely didnt. i just had a game with an ezreal that refused to play and always told the enemy when we were doing objectives and i simply HAD to defend the lanes. minions gave me only 3 gold. 3 freaking gold. even if i killed 100 minions it wouldnt be enough gold for a stupid longsword xD this is insane and i dont know why riot takes away supports the ability to help their team in these situations.

im now ending up selling the support item in mid / lategame, since there are more downsides then upsides imo
