Honor for Randoms and Enemys too

The new honor system brought quiet a few problems. 1: almost every honor goes to a premade, so random players barely get honored. 2: most honors go to female players. im not a sexist, just telling you my experiences, since i most of the time play with at least 1 or 2 girls. 3: honoring an enemy is not possible anymore.

the question is: why should the average player give his best or be friendly, if he sees that his team is 4 premades? just for not getting reported?

Here my suggestion: Honor multiple players (even enemys) and add a Dishonor system. I know, the average player in this community is toxic and would dishonor enemys only for playing good. but i think this could decrease the amount of players flaming or saying gg ez, especially if there is a penalty for getting dishonored.

Wait what?

People honor girls more? Wut ????

How the hell do you even know they are girls in the first place???

I can understand you complaining about the person that carried get all the honors and supports get left out dry, but girls getting more honors??? What the heck are you smoking...

Points 1 and 2 are just stuff you pulled out of your ass and aren't worth adressing except to point out there is no way for you to have the data to support these bald ass assertions.

Point 3 I agree with, I've had several instances where I would have liked to honor an opponent, or my entire team, or all the players in the game. I think it's a shame this is no longer possible.

The answer to your question is yes ; You should always do your best, and if you are doing it only to get honors, then you don't deserve honors.

Finally with regard to your suggestions, I agree they should bring back team honors and opponent honors. I think your 'dishonors' suggestion is silly, the report function serves this purpose already.

  1. Where's your data to back up this claim? I rarely queue up with others and also occasionally get teamed up with premades and yet I still get honored quite frequently despite that. Now if you frequently play with a premade and rarely honor anyone but them then I could see how that would skew your data, but it is false to assume that only premades ever honor each other. Besides, the Honor system is specifically programmed to make honors from your premades count less than honors from non-premades in order to prevent honor farming.
  2. Unless they specifically tell you what gender they are you have no way of knowing for sure what a persons actual gender is. You say that you play with girls often and have been told by them that they get often just for being females. That is a very limited and biased source to pull from especially considering the fact that again, other people have no way of knowing what gender they are unless they specifically tell them their gender. Even if the girls do tell other players their gender that doesn't necessarily mean that their gender is the primary reason they receive honors.
  3. I am also disappointed by this since every now and then there is a player on the enemy team who I feel is deserving of my honors. At the end of the day though it's not that big a deal, and if I recall correctly Riot has stated that they're not opposed to bringing it back in the future, so fingers crossed on that one.

To answer your question you should always be trying to do your best while also accepting the fact that you're not always gonna receive honors in every game you play. If your only reason for playing is to farm honors then you need to seriously reevaluate why it is that you play League of Legends.

As for your suggestion I wholeheartedly agree with the idea of honoring multiple players in a game, as I have been in multiple games where I would just love to honor multiple teammates but couldn't. However, I disagree with having a dishonor system, mainly because we technically already have one with the IFS as if you receive a punishment your honor level drops down to 1 (or 0 if you're already at 1). If you don't feel a player is honor worthy then simply don't honor them.

how the hell do you even know that? I played around 500 games this season, i have no idea when a person is male or female. And even if they would tell me they are a girl, doesn't mean they are. I can tell you I am batman, would you believe that?

Wow.. I don't even know where to start.

  1. Where is your source for this? I consistently get honors from players that aren't my premade - as evidenced by the fact that I get the loading-screen border in over half of my games.

  2. You have no way of knowing the gender of another random player you meet. You further cannot generalize correlation to causation in that manner.

  3. Honors are designed to bring out team players. An enemy player, if they're being a team player to your team, is intentionally feeding and doesn't deserve honor. You do not get to observe their team dynamics in team chat, pings, etc - thus it is not appropriate to allow you to honor them for behavior you did not witness.

I cannot speak for others - only for myself & my premade friends:

  1. Almost all the honors from our premade go to the "randoms". Only if all of our team mates are trolls or griefers, we give them to each other.
  2. What is this "female" you keep talking about?
  3. True.

Your question has simple answer: You are prejudiced towards premade people. Some of them are actually more likely to give you the honors than each other.

im guilty of 1 unless a. one of my teammates made my game more enjoyable b. my premade made me mad.
