I was just wondering why Evelynn's ravage doesn't stack the new Rageblade twice... I mean it counts as 2 auto attacks. I think that it should, if ravage can be dodged by Jax or blinded by teemo then why is it that it doesn't count as a basic for this one instance? Does anybody else agree that Ravage should stack Rageblade?
50000000000000003 votesIIRC rageblade stacking is an on-attack effect, while rageblade AoE damage is an on-hit effect. So Ezreal Q won't stack rageblade either, for example, while Nasus Q (which is an enhanced AA) would.

ckkinder1 votesIt's an ability that applies on-hit affects, why should that mean it can be dodged? Jax's Counter Strike even states it reduces the damage from "basic attacks" which would not encompass Ravage.
50000000000000002 votesOn hit effects and on attack effects are different. Runaan's hurricane is an on attack effect. If it were on hit it would proc itself.
ckkinder1 votesI'm not saying they aren't different, I am saying that in this instance Ravage is counted as a basic attack (for Jax's dodge) and but for the Rageblade it isn't counted as a basic attack.
Like I stated above, Jax's dodge dodges "Basic attacks"
50000000000000001 votesRavage procs on hit effect (its damage is considered an autoattack), so it's blocked by Jax's dodge. Ravage doesn't proc on-attack effect because it's a spell. On-attack effects are processed only when you use autoattacks. Once you charge the rageblade, your Ravage will proc the AoE damage twice.
