Not sure how Ashe would be considered "non-meta" when I beat a Vayne-Teemo botlane as Ashe and Leona. Shut down the Vayne hard enough to win the game. I'd say more "situational," though that still wouldn't excuse the Ali trolling, assuming you're telling the truth.

Everyone can be toxic. Supports have the lowest chance I would say, but that's like comparing the difference between a pizza with cheese and a pizza with extra cheese. There's not much difference.

but to answer your question, some people are trolls, only care about themselves, and your best bet is to report and move on, even if they won't get into trouble. chances are, you're probably not gonna see him again. and if you ever do, no one would remember anything.
