Anyone Else Try Jungle Nidalee?

So in my attempts to get myself back into good spirits after the some of the adjustments in this recent patch left me less then content, I decided to try out Nidalee in the jungle now that Hunt works on jungle camps. So far my initial impression is that... it's Nidalee in the jungle. AD, AP, bruiser, she can build it all but now out of the jungle! Her ganks aren't that bad, what with the speed of Pounce and hopping through brushes for small bursts allowing you to sneak up on people. I find her laners need to have sufficient CC to help with her ganks though, as unlike a lot of junglers she doesn't have a proper reliable CC. For example in the game I was playing I had Braum in duo, Fizz in mid, and Renekton top. All with a form of CC that seriously helped out ganks. The game was kind of a mess, but I had a lot of fun and am going to try and get better at her.

As a sidenote, to those whom may have played Nidalee in the jungle prior to this change, what are your thoughts before and after? Any tips on item builds, jungle paths, or possible beneficial team comps (for when I am not soloqing)? Would be sincerely appreciated.

I've only tried it in a custom. Hated it very very much, both ad and ap.

Seen it in a few games while i was bot or mid. The ganks are weak since i keep EVERYTHING warded. No CC and your only hope is to hit someone with a spear from the fog of war. If i don't know where nid is then i'm staying alert and near my minions. It also seems to be a bit rough in terms of clear speed and budget since there are a few items AP nids like to get and AD nid isn't really a treat early (as a jungle).

Not worth imo

Edit: I love Nidalee and she is probably my 2nd or 3rd most played champion of all time.

I tried a custom game to test out her camp clear. I would probably consider her a Niche pick. you would have to be reliant on teammates for ganking. And you would probably need a leash to get started.

still, The buff to on the Hunt is a buff to her over all. Even if you are not Jungling, you can still take Jungle camps, and it gives her more Mobility and escape options because she can Q a monster and then pounce.
