Camera Options from a HOTS perspective might improve new player expirience
When I switched from LOL to HOTS, I was a locked camera player. I didn't want to learn unlocked, it was just a preference.
When I started playing HOTS, the "locked camera" is actually movable. If you drag your mouse against the border of the screen, it will shift the view over but not far enough to obscure vision on your character. Also, after a few seconds of returning your cursor to the center (not draging the screen) the camera will slowly shift back onto your character.
I'm sure this has been asked for by the player community, but what I want to add is this.
It BROKE MY HABIT of playing with a LOCKED SCREEN. Painlessly. I literally returned to league ABLE to play UNLOCKED with comfort.
That being said, I still think you should accommodate locked screen players by rotating the field 45 degrees. All maps in HOTS are side to side just like twisted treeling and no team has a vision advantage due to camera angles. Even if you play unlocked, the angle does affect how soon you will see the enemy team approaching. Statistics prove it.
