@ Riot Meddler Please ALLOW US TO BUY PINK WARDS LATE GAME.

This problem is only going to grow throughout the season but I thought it should be known now, in the past when say Rengar ultied me, if my support or no one else on the team was buying Pinks I would upgrade my trinket (to the pink ward version) and not worry about it, now however because of the changes that's no longer possible so I have to have an inventory slot for them, but what makes it worse is late game I don't have room for one so its either rely on teamates to do this or keep one item slot open all game for pinks vs certain stealth champions like rengar who you must have a pink for. Please riot fix this situation before season 6 next year either by coming up with a way for late game pinks to be possible when slots are full, or nerf champions who do considerable burst if allowed to get onto you like Rengar, Shaco etc.

My favorite pastime in S5 Normals was to place a pink ward in plain view and wait in a nearby bush as Veigar. We called this tactic the Cookie Bait, as enemy laners would think of it as a treat and try to break it for the 30 gold, only to die and give us 300 gold instead. As we got better at the cookie bait's execution, it became the end-game goal and basis of our team comps to pull off these baits.

Now it works fine for mid game, but late game nobody has room for pink wards any more. To fill the void in our lives, we have switched to using the upgraded blue wards (which we of course refer to as Peppermint Baits). It's just not the same.

#RitoPls: Return Pink Trinkets and make this trolly mid laner happy once more.

Doesn't red trinket give true sight? Pink upgrade is a bit bad in comparison to the normal upgrade, for warding, but isn't as good for detecting wards as red either so might as well go red now.

I find this a huge problem as well. When facing Wukong or Akali, I usually buy pinks till lvl 9 and upgrade it so I can kill them (when ahead). Especially against Shaco or Vayne this is a problem since it's so easy for them to get invisible and kill me / get away...

I've run into this issue as well. Perhaps a single pink ward could be stored at at time on "7" item slot specifically for a single vision ward that has to be bought. Sort of like how you can buy elixirs that get applied.

But in all seriousness, i think they took it out since not many people get that trinket upgrade. I know if my team needs it if they are upgrading well, and we need one, i would get it. But i have it as a lower priority.

Look this is what's good. First. Bring back both old yellow upgrade pink and green trinkets. Next. Make all sightstones let you have up to 2 pink wards on the map. Last if all of your team has not upgraded trinket by lvl 12. You auto ff. So you learn your damn lessons. Sick of noob pandering.

I think we should have an item slot made for pink wards only, just like we have our free trinket on 4.

Tbh since pinks are the only ward in the shop anymore, they should just get their own item slot.

I did have this problem in a game vs Akali. We lost early, pretty hard. She got to 9-1 I believe. Then mid game we fought back and we started winning teamfights. However it got to lategame, we got into a fight in the jungle, after Baron respawned, and Akali quadra killed to finish the game because of no available vision wards.

It is something that should be added as a trinket option. There's no harm in putting an extra trinket option that can be unlocked at (for example) level 15/16.
