Losing more Lp than Gaining...?

Hey idk if you guys have notice a trend but for every game ive won, i get normally 12 to 15 lp per match and when i lose my matches i usually lose about 20-25 lp per match idk if it because of the new elo system or the elo that i'm in (gold 5 or was now its silver 1) its just seems a little counter-intuitive to play so hard for a match to earn so little in the process.

That has to do with your MMR although looking you up it does say you should be at a silver I level so you should be fine.

LP also does get slightly adjusted if you're facing a team with a better cumulative MMR but it won't be a 10 point swing like you're describing.
