It's working much better this season. I can pick ADC/Support, and get ADC much of the time. I'm not sure what happened, I suspect slightly longer queue times in exchange for more likely primary picks.
The current parameters, from my perspective, are pretty good. :)
Jbels1 votesIt's mostly due to autofill. Believe it or not, that thing people are constantly damning does some good. Personally I hate that it alienates players by forcing them into roles they don't usually play and loses games for that team in that way

Getting support 80% of the time meant I was picking ADC/Mid and ADC/Top to get ADC. Which dropped me in Mid and Top pretty often, then you have a bad top/mid player that game. What was happening last season with regard to support secondary was pretty bad because it encouraged other bad behavior. These things are not simple to design properly, and they have to take a "least damage" sort of attitude.
