What Riot should do about Crits.
I feel like they need to rework crit as a stacking-style stat. For instance, every 100 stacks you get a crit, consumable on the instant you get crits. So 20% crit chance? Every 5th hit is a crit. 50%? Every 2 hits is a crit. 70%? You crit every 2 hits with some left over stacks. (Basically, (70 + 70)-100 = (40+70)-100 = 10, etc etc.) It would normalize crit chance, and allow meaningful counter play while leaving the choice to utilize crits on various important targets. (Champions like Yasuo and Ashe would retain their uniqueness and wouldn't even chance in terms of current power while stopping stupidities like the first game SKT won at worlds because their ADC ended up with a more or less 70% crit chance in the dragon fight while he had 40%.)
For reference, I'm talking about this particular fight in this particular game : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atIQgWhAclw Skip to 2:50. There, you see Bang hit 12-13 crits on an overall of... 17 hits. The guy has 40% chance to crit, yet crits on an average of 70% in that fight. Imagine you're H2K there, you're playing to pass group stage in worlds and suddenly, the enemy ADC just hits a crit rampage and everyone just dies. How fair is that? You basically lost to RNG. I'm not saying the game would've been different, but that particular fight completely turned the game around... because Bang ended up having a Yasuo passive on tristana.
TL;DR - Critical Chance should become a static stat that allows you to hit a critical strike every time you get 100 stacks, which would normalize and allow actual counter-play instead of just letting people rampage or trample all over games because they're RNG lucky. (This was the exact same problem you guys had with the faulty Dodge RNG. It was frustrating to have someone with 1% dodge chance suddenly go and dodge 5 hits in a row. This has legitimately happened to me in a game, the guy was 1 auto away from dying and killed me because of that.)
